PANGO®

Pango® represents our newest area of botanical research of which very little is known and nothing published. It is an extract derived from an immature flower of a plant indigenous to central Peru although it may be found in other parts of South America if not the world.

Ethnomedically, the bud is used to reduce itching by rubbing it directly on the skin; when placed in a dish of water containing minnows or immature fish, it initially causes them to swim upside-down which wears off after a period of time without any apparent deleterious effect; and, when placed in the mouth, it causes an immediate tingling and then numbing sensation which is localized to the area of the palate in direct contact.

So far, that’s all we know but it certainly is interesting.
